SMART STREET LIGHT

A smart streetlight system incorporating Light Dependent Resistors (LDRs), time-based switching, and manual switching offers a range of features that enhance energy efficiency, convenience, and control.
Light Dependent Resistors (LDRs) sense ambient light levels. When the natural light diminishes to a certain threshold (e.g., at dusk or in dark conditions), the LDR triggers the streetlights to turn on automatically. This feature ensures that the streetlights operate only when needed, conserving energy during daylight hours.
The smart streetlight system includes a scheduling feature that allows administrators to program specific on/off times for the lights. This is particularly useful for areas where consistent illumination is required during certain hours, such as high-traffic zones or residential neighbourhoods.
Users, such as maintenance personnel or emergency responders, have the option to manually override the automatic and time-based controls when necessary. Manual switches or interfaces are available at each streetlight or through a centralized control system.

Motion based light control
